Actual Signs are proud to announce the launch of its free online BSL dictionary. The dictionary holds over 21,000 English words and an astounding 80,000 BSL signs!  The dictionary is the first of its kind in the UK and it is hoped will offer endless benefits to both Deaf and hearing alike, thus reducing the communication barriers often experienced by many people.

 

The Dictionary was created after extensive research by a group of language professionals ensuring its accuracy and is presented by Tessa Padden(MA).
